As the holiday season approaches, I want to bring attention to an incredible organization right here in our community: Westland Goodfellows! Their mission, “No Child Without a Christmas,” is about making sure children in our community have the opportunity to experience the joy, excitement, and magic of Christmas.
Unfortunately, not every family can afford Christmas presents, toys, new clothes, food, and other holiday necessities. Many parents are working hard, paying bills, and doing everything they can to provide for their children. Sometimes, even after doing everything right, there simply isn't enough left over to make Christmas happen the way they wish it could.
That's why organizations like Westland Goodfellows matter so much. ❤️🎁 They help bring hope to families who need a helping hand and remind children that their community cares about them.
🎁 THIS YEAR, WE ARE ASKING OUR WESTLAND COMMUNITY AND LOCAL BUSINESSES TO PLEASE HELP! 🎁
We are looking for business sponsors, local companies, generous organizations, and community members who would be willing to donate or contribute in any way they can to help make Christmas special for children in Westland.
We are looking for donations of:
🎁 Toys and Christmas presents, gifts that will put a smile on a child's face.
🧥 Clothing and warm winter essentials, coats, hats, gloves, boots, and clothes to help children stay warm during the Michigan winter.
🍎 Food and holiday meal essentials, anything that could help families put food on the table and enjoy the holidays together.
🧸 Games, books, stuffed animals, and other items children would love, because every child deserves something special to open on Christmas morning.
🎄 Monetary donations and business sponsorships, contributions that can help support the organization's efforts to reach local families.
❤️ Any other new, appropriate items that could make a child's Christmas brighter are welcome to be discussed!

If you own or manage a business in Westland, please consider becoming a Christmas sponsor this year. Whether you are a small family-owned business, a large company, a restaurant, a retail store, or another local organization, your support could make a meaningful difference.
You might be able to donate merchandise, purchase toys, provide clothing, contribute food, sponsor a donation drive, or encourage your employees and customers to participate.
You do not have to make a huge contribution to make an impact. Sometimes one business donating a few gifts can help bring happiness to several children. Imagine what we could accomplish if businesses throughout Westland joined together for this cause!
