Woman Fatally Shot at Westland Apartment Complex, Suspect Reportedly in Custody
A young woman was fatally shot Sunday evening at an apartment complex in Westland, and a man believed to be involved has reportedly been taken into custody.
The shooting happened at the Landing Apartments on Hunter Avenue, near Central City Parkway and Warren Road.
According to The Metro Detroit News, multiple shell casings were found outside the apartment complex following the shooting.
The news outlet reports that a male suspect fled the area on foot before later being arrested.
Right now, there are still some major unanswered questions.
