C. Paschal Eze
Executive Editor
C. Paschal Eze is the Executive Editor of Voice of Westland. A Westland resident and homeowner, he brings decades of experience in journalism, government, business and nonprofit leadership.
He served as the City of Westland's first Community Engagement Director and inaugural Chief Diversity Officer, as Vice President of the Westland Housing Commission and as a board member of Thomas Taylor Towers. He created She Rocks Westland and directed the Westland Multicultural Festival in 2025 and 2026.
Earlier in his career he was editor-in-chief of a major daily newspaper, a writer for the Iowa City Press-Citizen and a national correspondent for a continental news agency. His honors include recognition in the United States Congressional Record, the Spirit of Detroit Award, the Westland Mayor's Patriotic and Meritorious Service Award and the Western Wayne NAACP Community Impact Award.
